This was a deeply technical game to work on where every ship subsystem had fully simulated damage and modulations affected by other internal and external components. The audio had to reflect this dynamic simulation whilst also maintaining a "realistic" aesthetic. There's no sound in space in this one. I worked on it for 4 months in 2015 using Fmod.
